A 2023 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight revealed that advertisements on social media platforms had a limited impact on purchase decisions in Taiwan. Only nine percent of female and 12 percent of male respondents had made more than six times of purchases after seeing social media ads in the last 12 months prior to the survey period.
