Personalized content has become increasingly important for the success of social media advertising. According to a 2023 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Taiwan, over 40 percent of respondents said they were only interested in viewing social media ads that are customized to their interests or likes. On the contrary, one in five respondents expressed their wish not to see sponsored advertisements on social media platforms.
