Internet users in Hong Kong were more interested in social media ads with product deals or personalized content, as confirmed by about a third of respondents in a 2023 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Hong Kong. On the contrary, over one in five respondents expressed their wish not to see sponsored advertisements on social media platforms.
