According to a survey in China in May 2023, nine in ten mobile users were satisfied with the search experience and search response speed of search engine platforms. Respondents were least happy with the MDM (misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation) screening capabilities and the quantity and quality of advertisements.

Research subjects: active users who had used traditional search engine platforms (excluding vertical content search platforms, such as Bytes, Xiaohongshu Search, etc.) of all ports in April 2023, of which the traditional search engine platforms include Baidu, 360 Search, Sogou Search, Quark Search (mobile only), Sleipnir Search (mobile only) and Wukong Search (mobile only).
