As indicated by a Rakuten Insight survey on consumer attitudes to social media advertising in India, about three-fourths of the respondents were willing to view ads on social media platforms in 2023. Among them, 48 percent of users were motivated by the chance to find products at a good bargain or avail discounts. Social media emerged as one of the leading digital advertising formats employed in India.
