The leading negative post-purchase experience of Australian consumers, according to a survey conducted in December 2022, was not receiving relevant information about purchase details, with around 43 percent of respondents citing this as a reason they stopped being loyal to a brand. Not receiving loyalty points for a purchase was also a prevalent negative shopping experience among those surveyed, which led them to shy away from a certain brand.
