According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023 on the usage of over-the-top (OTT) video services, approximately 44 percent of respondents who maintained their subscriptions stated that it was because they just did not feel the need to cancel it. For another 38 percent in the survey their reason to stay subscribed was that the content they liked kept getting updated.
