According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023 on the usage of over-the-top (OTT) video services, approximately 57.5 percent of respondents stated that once they were subscribed to a service, they usually stayed subscribed to it. Only around six percent of respondents would not re-subscribe once they canceled a service.
