According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023 on the usage of over-the-top (OTT) video services, roughly 43.5 percent of respondents stated that when getting a new streaming service subscription, they were planning on keeping the current one while using the new one in addition or sharing their service with someone else. Around 24.5 percent of respondents said they would cancel their current subscription before starting the new one.
