In a survey conducted in Australia between November 2021 and February 2022, almost 70 percent of LGBTIQ+ respondents reported experiencing verbal violence from a family member during the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost one-quarter of respondents reported experiencing sexual violence from an intimate partner during the pandemic.
