According to a survey of LGBTQ working adults in Australia in 2022, close to one-quarter of trans and gender diverse respondents reported that their pronouns were they/them. Almost 40 percent of respondents reported using rolling pronouns (e.g. she/they). The annual Australian Workplace Equality Index survey is meant to gauge the overall impact of inclusion initiatives on organizational culture in the country.
