Natural gas consumption for the industrial and power generation sectors in Canada amounted to an estimated total of 101 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2022. This was considerably higher compared to the residential and commercial sectors, which consumed 20 bcm and 19 bcm of natural gas that year, respectively.
