Concerns about media freedom grew across Hungary in 2023, from 48 percent to 56 percent in one year. The number of people who are not at all concerned with media freedom therefore decreased from 33 to 28 percent, still making up almost a third of respondents. The number of those, who are neither concerned nor not concerned also decreased from 19 to 16 percent.
