Spain: self-reported car purchasing intention by type 2022-2023
New vehicles were the most popular vehicle type for Spanish respondents intending to purchase a vehicle in the next twelve month as of February 2023. However, this share dropped slightly from 76 percent in February 2022 to 73 percent in February 2023. In contrast, used vehicle purchase intentions jumped to over a quarter in 2023. In 2021, around two million used vehicles were sold in Spain.
