Cultivated meat is a controversial topic for consumers in the Netherlands. A 2022 survey reveals that just under half of Dutch consumers would not buy cultivated, lab-grown, or cultured meat, even if the price, taste, and texture are good. The group that is open to trying these new food products is considerably smaller, and more than 20 percent of respondents were undecided.
