According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in March 2023 on inflation in South Korea, more than 59 percent of respondents aged 35 to 54 years old stated that they started to buy cheaper groceries. This, along with actively seeking out coupons for their shopping has been the most common answer across all age groups.
