According to a survey by Rakuten Insight conducted in March 2023 on the impacts of inflation in South Korea, close to 54 percent of female respondents answered that they checked prices before buying something. The most common answer among men in this survey was cutting back on unecessary expenses, at a roughly 48 percent respondent share.
