During a January 2023 survey among members of Generation Z – aged between 18 and 24 years at the time of data collection – in the United States, 29 percent of respondents said the type of advertising they paid the most attention to was on social media. TV and the internet followed, mentioned by 17 and 15 percent of respondents, respectively.
