In 2022, retail sales of unpackaged cakes amounted to approximately 14.6 billion U.S. dollars. Sales are forecast to grow to almost 17.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2027. Packaged cakes are forecast to increase to 13.4 billion U.S. dollars by 2027.
