A survey conducted in the United States between 2020 and 2024 focused on the share of museum-goers who visited a museum over the previous year. In the 2024 poll, the share of respondents going to museums at least four times a year experienced an annual increase of three percentage points, but remained significantly below pre-pandemic levels. Meanwhile, 18 percent of the sample in 2024 reported visiting a museum less than once a year, declining from 21 percent in 2023.
