Of the selected leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand websites, American exercise equipment outlet onepeloton.com saw by far the most significant increase in website traffic, from 0.9 million website visits in March 2019 to 6.7 million visits in December 2021. Conversely, dollarshaveclub.com saw a decline in traffic over this time period of over 50 percent, from 3.3 million visits in March 2019 to just 1.4 million visits in December 2021. Three of the five selected brands saw traffic to their website peak during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in late 2020 and early 2021.
