According to a survey among Seoul residents in South Korea on their reasons for not purchasing eco-friendly agricultural products in 2022, roughly 52.5 percent of respondents stated that they did not buy them because they were too expensive. Compared to the previous two years, the share of respondents not trusting the certificates of such products decreased from over 19 percent in 2020 to around 7.6 percent in 2022.
