M-commerce penetration rate in Latin America 2023, by country
Nearly eight out of ten e-commerce users in Mexico made purchases using a mobile device in 2023. Among the Latin American countries studied, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil followed closely in terms of mobile shopping penetration, with over 70 percent of online shoppers making purchases via mobile. In Argentina, this figure was 69 percent, while in Chile, it stood at 60 percent.
