According to a survey carried out in December 2021 in the United Kingdom, almost 30 percent of respondents perceived lab grown, or cultured, meat to be very or somewhat unsafe. This figure figure is high compared to that of plant-based proteins; some four percent of respondents saw such products as very or somewhat unsafe.
