When surveyed between in October and September 2024, some nine percent of female respondents stated that they follow a gluten-free diet in the United States. This figure increased to ten percent for male survey respondents.
The original survey question was: "Do you follow one or more of the following nutrition rules?" This statistic shows the share of all who answered "Gluten-free".
