Leading local digital news sites UK 2022, by audience in local region
Data on local news websites in the United Kingdom in February 2022 found that 63 percent of traffic to Wigan Today came from its local region. Most of the leading 15 sites by audience share in their main local region belonged to publisher Newsquest, whereas Reach titles, which had much larger audiences, had a more geographically-dispersed audience and fewer readers hailing from their local region.
