According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight on online shopping behavior among South Koreans as of June 2022, around 57 percent of respondents answered that their reason to stop shopping online was that they preferred physical shops and liked checking out the products before purchasing. For roughly another 22 percent it was important that they were able to find better deals in physical stores.
