According to a survey in 2022 in South Korea about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on grocery shopping behavior, more than 58 percent of respondents answered the pandemic had no effect on their average monthly expenses for groceries. On the other hand, close to 39 percent stated that their grocery spending had increased because of it.
