According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2022 about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on grocery shopping behavior, close to 60 percent of respondents answered they changed their shopping location according to the current severity of the situation. According to the source, changing the usual grocery purchase location was more common among bigger households with five or more people.
