About 718 per 100,000 of the population visited hospitals to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue in one day.

The survey was conducted at medical facilities on one designated date set for each institution from three days in October.
Rate of treated patients per day = estimated number of patients / total population (based on the national census) x 100,000
The estimated number of patients refers to the number of patients who received treatments at medical facilities on the surveyed day. It excludes the number of returning outpatients who were not treated during that period.
