In a 2021 consumer survey by Capgemini Research Institute, There was not a huge difference in the share of responses for reasons consumers did not practice circular consumption, with responses generally sitting between 50 and 55 percent. The leading reason, selected by three fifths of respondents, was that they were not provided with sufficient information on the product to assess its circular credentials.
