In 2022, Sound Group Inc., formerly known as Lizhi Inc., reported to have 50.4 million monthly active users on its apps. Founded in Guangzhou in 2013, the Nasdaq-listed company operates audio entertainment platform Lizhi and launched the Clubhouse-like social networking app Tiya in the United States in 2020. As an international audio-based social and entertainment provider, the company changed its corporate name and headquarter to Singapore in 2024. As of the time of writing, the company has not released its annual report for 2023.
