According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023 in South Korea, around 46.46 percent of female consumers and about 45.67 percent of male consumers stated that the reason for not adopting sustainable consumption practices was because it was too expensive. This question was asked among consumers who stated that they did not adopt sustainable consumption practices when purchasing goods.
