According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in December 2023, around 51.5 percent of South Korean consumers aged 55 years and older stated that they had adopted sustainable consumption practices when purchasing items in the last 12 months. People aged 16 to 24 years old were more likely to not adapt sustainable consumption or were unsure if they had.
