WeChat has become the major channel used by the Chinese consumers to research and make purchase decisions for luxury. A 2021 survey revealed that 54 percent of heavy-spending consumers in China used WeChat to look for luxury information. Brand events were another important medium, with 42 percent of respondents saying so.
