According to a consumer survey in 2021, WeChat had sparked the interest of more than half of the surveyed heavy-spending shoppers in luxury articles in China. The survey also revealed that brand events were the second most effective channel for luxury brands to attract high-end consumers, with 48 percent of respondents sharing the opinion.
