According to a 2021 survey, engagement with in-person cultural activities in the United Kingdom increased significantly between February and November 2021, while online cultural engagement experienced a decreasing trend. As of February 2021, only nine percent of respondents claimed to have attended in-person cultural events, but this share rose to 49 percent in November 2021. In contrast, online cultural engagement in the UK roughly halved over the same period.
