U.S. adults with a dental visit in the past year in 2019 and 2020, by income
A survey conducted in United States in 2019 and 2020, asked respondents if they had a dental visit within the past 12 months. Among all family income groups, between 2019 and 2020 there was a decline in the percentage of adults who visited a dentist in the last year. Adults having a family income greater than 400 percent the federal poverty level (FPL) were the ones most likely to have had a dental visit in the past 12 months. This graph shows the percentage of U.S. adults with a dental visit in the past 12 months in 2019 and 2020, by family income as a percentage of the federal poverty level.
