Denmark: highest points and elevations

Denmark is a relatively flat country, its highest point reaching only 170.86 meters above sea level. Furthermore, the highest point in the country is a highly contested topic. First, less than one meter separates the four highest natural points in the country. Second, old graves from the Viking and Bronze ages are located on top of some of them. If these are taken intro consideration, Yding Skovhøj would be the highest point in Denmark with 172.54 meters, not Møllehøj. Moreover, Ejer Bavnehøj was considered to be the highest point until 1941, when Yding Skov was found to be slightly higher. Then, new measurements in 2004 and 2005 found that Møllehøj is the highest natural point in Denmark.
