As of 2022, the majority of the individuals in the labor force in Egypt had at least finished technical or general secondary education, as they accounted for over 37 percent of the total. Individuals who completed higher education or postgraduate education constituted nearly 22 percent. Additionally, around 15 percent of the Egyptian labor force was not able to read or write.
