Older generations of consumers in the Netherlands were more likely to follow a flexitarian diet than younger adults in 2020. More than half of the 75-and-older respondents to a survey indicated that the only eat meat between one and four days per week. In constrast, for 18-to-25-year-olds, this was less than 40 percent.
