A survey on Chinese online music consumers conducted in April 2021 showed that around half of respondents preferred actively choosing the music to play to just randomly listening while using in-vehicle terminals. In comparison with streaming music via mobile applications, over 55 percent of those surveyed believed their own pick was better than random playlists.
