A survey on Chinese online music consumers conducted in April 2021 showed that more than 40 percent of respondents who listened to online music via mobile devices earned no more than 3,000 yuan per month. The same survey revealed that a majority of respondents spent an average of 30 minutes to two hours on online music each day.
