Capital investment structure in reinsurance companies in Germany 2011-2019

Over 50 percent of capital investments made by reinsurance companies in Germany were capital investments in affiliated companies and holdings. In 2019, 52.4 percent of capital investments in German reinsurance companies were made up by affiliated companies and holdings. Approximately one third were made up of bearer bonds and other fixed-income securities.
