According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in November 2023, around 65.78 percent of respondents between 16 and 24 years old stated they planned on or did spend more money on holiday shopping than in 2022. The tendency to spend more money than the prior year decreased as the age group of respondents got older.
