According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in November 2023 on holiday shopping, more than 65.6 percent of respondents aged 16 to 24 years old stated to be going holiday shopping. As the age increased, the willingness for holiday shopping declined, with only a little over half of respondents older than 55 years old stating to do some holiday shopping.
