According to a survey conducted among South Korean consumers in October 2021, the most preferred brand of hot and spicy rice cakes, tteokbokki, was Sinjeon tteokbokki, with 13.9 percent of respondents stating it was their favorite. Closely following was Dongdaemun Yupduk, with around 12.6 percent of respondents answering in the brand's favor.
