In January 2022, e-commerce spending in Peru made up approximately 4.5 percent of the country's gross domestic product. Of the Latin American countries included in the study, Chile and Colombia followed, with online sales accounting for 4.2 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively, of their GDP.
