In a survey conducted in September 2021 by Rakuten Insight among South Koreans on which app store they used to download mobile applications, around 30.3 percent of all respondents in the survey aged 35 to 44 years old stated that they downloaded their apps from the Apple App store. A similar share of respondents from 16 to 24 years old and respondents older than 55 years old stated the same.
