In a survey conducted in September 2021 by Rakuten Insight among South Koreans on which app store they used to download mobile applications, around 84.3 percent of male respondents stated that they downloaded their mobile apps from Google Play store. The same was true for about 76 percent of female respondents, with more women using the Apple App store or other channels than men.
